This is the most basic Wacom tablet. I wanted to try one for photo-editing and freehand drawing. I didn’t need extra features but rather reliability and compatibility with the software I use (Adobe Photoshop, Corel Painter, Art Rage and Inkscape) and this machine worked first time with each and with excellent accuracy. It was simple to set up – the computer (Windows Xp)recognised it at once. I had previously used a Trust tablet which was ok but hit and miss at times. This is 100% better. I would recommend this tablet to anyone looking for a reliable entry-level device.

I thought my old (and when i say old I mean old ) Wacom tablet was good, I know this is one of the cheaper products in the wacom line but as a home user on a budget with very little artistic talent and very poor handwriting skills I found this is absolutely superb in graphics apps, and the handwriting recognition that comes in windows had no trouble at all in recognising my unearthly scrawls while I used this. In short after a very small learning curve I believe most people will be using this like a pro in no time, I give this the thumbs up all the way

I found this to be a perfect starter pen and tablet. I’ts easy to install* and use with a helpful tutorial included. I’ve even found myself using it to browse through Windows and handwrite text into documents using the PC Tablet input device. The side buttons are a little fiddly (although I’ve only been using this for a couple of days) but the pen itself acts as a ‘right click’ and ‘scroll’ tool so I rarely need those buttons. The small size of the tablet is the only thing which some people may struggle with but the sensitivity feels near faultless and as light a feather in my opinion. It’s great for two-minute doodles in Paint or for more advanced use.

*The software works fine but anyone with WINDOWS 7 who finds that this doesn’t work well with Adobe Photoshop (and other applications) needs to download the updated driver software (free) from WACOM.

I decided to get a graphics tablet as I make art on the computer recreationally and have heard that graphics tablets make drawing easier. I decided to purchase this model as I heard that Wacom were a good make of graphics tablet.

The tablet itself looks very sleek, the pen doesn’t look quite as elegant but it is comfortable to hold. Installation of the tablet was quick and painless and I was impressed with the level of precision it provides. It also was able to detect quite a range of pressure in both GIMP and Photoshop.

For anyone unsure of the contents of this product, it includes the tablet and pen, as well as 3 replacement nibs for the pen.

I think this product is brilliant value for money and I would definitely recommend it as a starting tablet for hobbyists.

i had been recomended by a friend, to buy this as a first just to get used to using the tablet. as i have never used one before and i have to say its really worth the money! it small, but big enough to use for things like photoshop and

its incredibly easy to use, just pluged it into the computer and it worked straight away.
