Does exactly what it says on the tin. No loss of signal going through the switch, I have mine hooked up to my Panasonic surround sound from my Xbox and Sky HD box. Works a treat.

As someone with a PS3, and XBOX, and Sky HD all looking for an optical audio connection to my surround sound system, this was probably my best option. Essentially this will fix the problem where you only have one optical input, but multiple devices with optical outputs. It’s not attractive and seems a little archaic in the design (a big clunky wheel that you turn to the appropriate input) … but that said, it’s a tough problem to solve. It works for me – I’ve used it now for a few months and had little in the way of problems (and no sound quality degradation).

This is just what I needed to deal with limited optical inputs to my Denon receiver. No more swapping delicate optical connections over everytime i need to change the input device………PERFECT and SOUNDLY CONSTRUCTED plus a GREAT PRICE. Many thanks
