What a great little Scanner. It is very easy to use, I have even got my mother to try it who is not gadget minded. It is very quick to scan and the end result comes out as clear as the orginal photo. Light and easy to carry. It would be handy if a memory card came included as I did have to buy one. But all in all it is a very good product. I can now scan all my old photos on to my PC and put them on facebook to embarrass myself. Thumbs up.

Bought this but didn’t expect a lot from it, turns out I was very pleasantly surprised by it’s simplicity and quality of scans. I’m absolutely delighted and can now view all my old photo’s on my laptop. There’s nothing complicated about it and it transferred my scans instantly. Would definetely recommend this.

This is a great gadget!Scans a photo in about 3 seconds, and i am more than happy with the quality of the scans. Impossibly small ; about the same size as a chocolate bar and easily portable to take round a friends so you can capture their photos/family photos if you wanted to. One point , i think it only works with a memory card in the back , which was fine for me as i had one but just a word of caution i suppose as i didnt get one in the box. Would be great to be able to scan larger photos too maybe a 7×5 inch one will be available some time ?? All in all very happy!

I got one of these refurbished, and tried it out. Pants was the only word to describe it. Every scan was disfigured by streaky white lines. Having a thought, I opened the unit up and cleaned the rollers and scanning head with isopropyl alcohol and swaps, and reassembled. Following this, I have found the unit to be amazing! Providing you don’t let dust and ‘photo grime’ built up inside, which you do with the included wand and pad, you can pile through your photograph collections. In two days, i have managed 3500, which is a phenomenal amount. The scan quality is perfectly good, nice colours, not too noisy or compressed, but you wouldnt want to blow it up to a poster sized print to be honest. I can manage a scan every 6-10 seconds providing the SD card is sufficiently fast enough to cope with the data transfer, a branded one like Sandisk should do. Only 1 more day of scanning and I should be done with my entire collection.
I have three words of wisdom for anyone using this product 1)flick a lint free cloth over each photo before you put it though, it will save time cleaning the machine 2)on old photos where the glossy layer has become sticky, clean the machine more regularly with the felt want, about every 10 to prevent the sticky coating building up and 3)calibrate and clean the machine after every packet of photos. Stick to that, and you will very rapidly convert your old photos whilst been able to watch TV. Good item, just a bit filthy when it comes reconditioned.
