Having researched new 32″ LCDs in detail I wanted a product that was attractive, featured HDMI connections and was a resonable cost.
Full 1080p was not an issue as I don’t have Blu ray or Sky HD, so it came down to the Toshiba, Samsung and LG models.
All offered similar specs and having owned Toshiba TVs in the past I had no question over the quality, so decided to buy this TV from Amazon as it was competitively priced and better value than the competition.
Having received it the day after the order I found it easy to set-up and configure to my liking. It looks good and sounds good and so far I’m very very happy.

I bought this TV for use in the bedroom and after I set it up, which was easy, I noticed was the picture was very good but the sound was hollow and slightly distorted. Thinking I might have set something up wrong I set the TV back to default setting and it made no difference. I then tried adjusting the sound using the several different setting and still the same. I connected a DVD, Blu Ray, PC and an HD media streamer no difference. I decided to send it back as I wasn’t happy with it and Amazons returns system made that easy. I am not sure whether to get another 32″ or upgrade my main TV (37″ Samsung which had good picture and sound) to something larger and put that in the bedroom instead.

I bought this to use as a recording studio monitor rather than a TV, as it’s the size I wanted and I couldn’t find a dedicated monitor of this size, and certainly not at the price. The unit is to Toshiba’s usual high standard, I’ve always had faith in them to make solid reliable gear that will last, as it will get a lot of use. Easy to install and good value.

Purchased to replace Mum in laws old CRT and the picture with the inbuilt freeview and scart sd connections are absolutely top notch, there must be some upscaling!
Set up was so quick and easy and have used standard picture settings no need to mess with any controls perfect out of the box !
Only negative is that there is no proper off switch just standbye, but we can live with that for £250 inc delivery.

Bought this item as “used” from Amazon, happily it was really just a brand new returned item still in original packaging. It was delivered quickly, taking just a couple of days even on free delivery. My 13 year old set it up in moments and the picture is superb, my one regret is that I didn’t heed the warnings about the sound quality. The TV has enormous capacity for loudness but the sound is indistinct and rather disappointing
