- GO x40 LIVE Series Carry Case
This hard shell case offers maximum protection for the Go Live range due to its form fitting shape. It operates in a similar way to a traditional spectacle case, with a firm “sprung” action and no fiddly zips or catches, so your sat-nav is always ready when you need it. Don’t waste your money on the zipped case – the zip tag is not robust enough for regular use and soon breaks (mine did). This is a quality item, well worth the money.

Sadly this item arrived damaged which tainted my opinion. The interior lining had become detached from the shell; clearly poor workmanship. Further to this it stated on the packaging and on the Amazon description that it was designed for models including the GO 940, yet the case would not close with the SATNAV inside.
In fairness to Amazon, they promptly refunded both my money and the shipping costs.

Looks nice, good sturdy feel.
The finish will mark easily which is a shame.
It is spring loaded which is good.
Biggest an only real dissapointment is that there is nothing to keep it shut. A couple of small magnets would fix this. I’m not suggesting a catch. just something to hold it shut.
Also – rather strangly – the 950 doesn’t seem to fit perfectly. It does if you squeeze it shut but release the pressure and it will marginly creep open. Couple this with the absense of a close mechanism you could be looking at a potential breakage.
Would I buy it again?
Probably not.
