I have Windows 7 (x64) and the device was detected as a Prolific USB Serial converter, but the driver on the CD didn’t seem to work. I had to download the driver from the prolific website and run the installer in Windows XP SP3 compatability mode. Works fine now! Could be just my PC…

laptop did not have serial port so used this cable instead works with vista and xp found it first time excellent |
