Brand new Global TV link suitable for extended remote control operation of Sky Digi boxes. This is the Sky approved type of magic eye. This item is the retail packed version as supplied by Sky. It comes complete with two coax plugs for use with your own coax cable. The plugs supplied are one female for the RF out 2 connection of your digi box and one male for connection to your TV link RF in socket.

This unit allows the remote control of a Sky Digi Box, Sky Plus Box or Sky HD Box from another room in your home.

This unit works due to the clever TV Link feature fitted to all Sky digi boxes. At the rear of the receiver you will find an RFOUT2 connection. If you connect a long male to female coaxial cable to this connection and feed it to another room then you can you can connect the TV Link unit at the remote end of the cable. The TV Link connects in between the aerial plug on the cable and the aerial socket of your TV. You can then use the Sky remote you already have or an additional handset to change channels and fully operate the Sky box.

Please note the TV Link does not transmit any picture information. It works in conjunction with an existing cable that is connected between your digi box RFOUT2 and your television. It is important that a good quality digital coaxial cable is used. You will find a range of single core digital coax cables in our shop.

Once correctly installed the TV link LED will illuminate indicating the presence of line power. If the LED is not lit then oroceed as follows:

Press the SERVICES button
Select SYSTEM SETUP (option 4)
Press 0 then 1 then SELECT (installer menu now appears)
Select RF OUTLETS (option 4)
Press the down arrow to select RF OUTPUT POWER SUPPLY
Press the right arrow to switch the option on
Press the down arrow to select SAVE NEW SETTINGS
Press select
At this point the line power is enabled on RFOUT2 and the led on the TV Link will be on.

When I heard about the Ring Mp75 Mini 12 volt DC to 240 volt AC Inverter my first question was “What s an inverter?”. I ve always had lots of portable devices on the go my laptop mobile phone and iPod to name a few. Each of these needs a different mains charger and in car charger. The Ring Mp75 Mini Inverter ends my need for in car chargers now I can just plug the inverter into my car s cigarette socket and then use the relevant mains charger power lead for my device. This is particularly useful with my laptop as we all know how quickly laptop batteries run out. The inverter itself has a flexible elbow style that lets it move through 90 degrees meaning it fits virtually all vehicles. It s also small and compact so it s easily stored in your glove compartment when not in use. And there s no need to worry about damaging your car s battery the inverter has an auto shutdown to protect against low battery conditions high temperature and short circuits.
