This is the Discworld’s last continent a completely separate creation. It’s hot. It’s dry…very dry. There was this thing once called the Wet which no-one now believes in. Practically everything that’s not poisonous is venomous. But it’s the best bloody place in the world all right? And it’ll die in a few days except…Who is this hero striding across the red desert? Champion sheep shearer horse rider road warrior beer drinker bush ranger and someone who’ll even eat a Meat Pie Floater when he’s sober? A man in a hat whose luggage follows him on little legs who’s about to change history by preventing a swagman stealing a jumbuck by a billabong? Yes…all this place has between itself and wind-blown doom is Rincewind the inept wizard who can’t even spell wizard. He’s the only hero left. Still…no worries eh? “The Last Continent” is the twenty-second in Terry Pratchett’s phenomenally successful “Discworld” series. Terry Pratchett would like it to be known that “The Last Continent” is not a book about Australia it’s just vaguely Australian.

The Brisbane Tabletop BBQ is custom-built for your summer. If you’re like us you’ll agree that BBQs can potentially be the meal of the year (unless they end in meat-sweats) and with one of these portable affairs you’ll be able to have that meal anywhere. All you have to do is load it up with charcoal close the lid and take it wherever you think could be improved by some burnt chicken wings. For ease of use and convenience the Tabletop BBQ is unbeatable. Not only can you fold it up and carry it like a culinary briefcase it can be assembled easily on a tabletop on the floor or any suitable surface. The grill itself is made of durable steel and is completely adjustable so if you’re fiercely battling to get closer to your meagre heat-source or simply warming some baps you can get it right every time. Unlike so many cheap and cheerful and supposedly-tabletop barbecues the Brisbane won’t leave a charcoal-y mess on your new garden furniture – this is a long-lasting serious little cooking device. So when the sun decides to put in an appearance you can pack up the Tabletop BBQ and sprint outside to the nearest suntrap and make the most of it while it lasts. Ideal for the garden the beach the park (when the park ranger’s not looking) or just about anywhere you fancy having the summer’s most enjoyable meal. What a sizzler!

Gothic
This book tells the story of Task Force Ranger – a unit of US Rangers and Special Forces – and their attempt to capture the lieutenants of the Somali warlord Muhamed Farrah Aideed, during the 1993 United Nations’ humanitarian relief mission. What started as a simple snatch-and-grab mission quickly degenerated into a desperate battle for survival when US Black Hawk helicopters were struck by rocket-propelled grenades and crashed into the streets of Mogadishu. Racing to save the crew, Task Force Ranger was surrounded by mobs of hostile Somali gunmen. The battle in the city raged all night as the better-equipped and better-trained US forces kept the nearly overwhelming numbers of Somalis at bay. Finally, battered, bloodied, and low on ammunition, the Task Force was rescued by a combined UN and US relief force and extracted to safety. Containing detailed maps and declassified information, this is a dramatic retelling of a brutal battle that had a far-reaching impact on US military policy. This book tells the story of Task Force Ranger – a unit of US Rangers and Special Forces – and their attempt to capture the lieutenants of the Somali warlord Muhamed Farrah Aideed, during the 1993 United Nations’ humanitarian relief mission.
