The Flying Alarm Clock has all the functionality of a regular alarm clock such as digital time display snooze function and alarm. But the alarm has an added twist – perched on the top of the clock is what looks like a black ping-pong with propeller blades. When your alarm goes off it starts to spin and takes off into the air while the siren-esque alarm sounds. It will continue to do this until you’ve caught the flying bit and slotted it back into the top of the clock. Features: An alarm clock with a flying attachment that takes off when the alarm sounds. Two parts to the clock; the base and a propeller top. A digital time display. A siren-esque alarm. Snooze function . Requires 4 x AA Batteries (not included). Suitable for ages 8 years+. Size: 14 x 14 x 9cm.
Price : £ 14.99

Designed from the start to be used indoors, it is constructed from sturdy polypropylene foam, which allows it to shrug off knocks and crashes. It is also far less devastating when you crash into the TV or Uncle Albert’s left ear. Weighing just 10 grammes (that’s less than half an ounce in old money) undoubtedly helps, but this has only been made possible by the very latest technology. The tiny but effective electric motor is powered by a lithium-polymer battery (the same technology used in the very latest mobile phones). Charging only takes 10 minutes which is good for around 5 minutes flying time. Cunningly, it is designed as “pusher prop” which means the propeller is mounted just behind the wings rather than at the front. This means Uncle Albert’s left ear won’t get shredded, and the prop is far less prone to damage.
Price : £ 14.95
