Steampunk
Dr. Malachi made “siblings†Jin and Delilah of clockwork and spare parts—human and otherwise. They have one purpose: to assassinate Queen Rowena so Dr. Malachi can profit from the war that will surely follow. When Jin discovers Dr. Malachi’s plans, he runs away, but to his despair he must leave Delilah behind.
Life in the outside world is terrifying. Jin has never been away from his creator’s estate and can barely pass for human. And now Dr. Malachi’s other creations—mechanical men and zombies—have picked up his trail. On the run, Jin crashes through young mechanic Molly Feldman’s roof; she sees the humanity beneath the metal and decides to hide him, but soon Malachi’s creatures are after her, too.
If Jin doesn’t rescue his “sister†Delilah, she’ll be forced to assassinate the Queen or die in the attempt. He needs Molly’s help, but if she finds out he was built for the same purpose, it may be the end for Delilah and Jin both.

Steampunk
BioShock 2: Special Edition contents:
- BioShock 2 game
- 12″ vinyl LP with BioShock orchestral score
- Audio CD with BioShock 2 orchestral score
- 3 vintage Rapture advertisement posters (rolled)
- BioShock 2 164-page hardback artbook
The original shocked the video gaming world by not only being a great first person shooter, but also an intelligent one. Now one of the greatest stories in interactive fiction is getting another chapter, with a sequel set ten years later.
You play the original Big Daddy – a more independently minded prototype to the giant deep sea divers from the first game. The undersea world of Rapture has been taken over by the mysterious Big Sister, who has begun to kidnap children from coastal cities around the world.
A much larger range of plasmid powers are now available, as well as more standard weapons and the Big Daddy’s iconic rivet gun and drill. The game’s real conflict is emotional though, as you are once again forced to make a decision between sacrificing Little Sisters or protecting them and making your task even harder. Bioshock 2 will make you think, and not just about tactics.

Gadgets
Robots are taking over the planet, but as the guide helpfully advises, don’t panic! This isn’t one of those pesky evil robots, intent on enslaving humanity , but the new Spykee Vox, the latest robot kit from Meccano that responds to the sound of your voice! Reacting to a huge range of voice commands, it can even be programmed to perform a series of movements and sounds using a very simple programme editor included with the robot. All it takes is a bit of practice and you’ll soon have your Spykee Vox zipping round the carpet shooting its lasergun. You can even edit his facial animations to react to different commands you give him. It?s all very exciting. The robot arrives disassembled, but there’s no need to brush up on your robotics – it’s just like any other Meccano kit and the instructions will hold your hand through every step of the process (we let our office luddite loose on the kit and he managed to finish making the robot within 3 hours – though he did try and destroy it afterwards). Once you’ve got the hang of your Spykee you can use it to control your mp3 player or iPod, and if you’re feeling particularly lazy the robot will even take over as the remote control for your telly, giving you complete voice control over the idiot box. So, if you fancy yourself as a bit of a robotics amateur, get hold of the Spykee Vox and let a little bit of the future into your living room.
