All films take a certain suspension of disbelief. Fight Club takes perhaps more than others, but if you’re willing to let yourself get caught up in the anarchy, this film, based on the novel by Chuck Palahniuk, is a modern-day morality play warning of the decay of society. Edward Norton is the unnamed protagonist, a man going through life on cruise control, feeling nothing. To fill his hours, he begins attending support groups and 12-step meetings. True, he isn’t actually afflicted with the problems, but he finds solace in the groups. This is destroyed, however, when he meets Marla (Helena Bonham Carter), also faking her way through groups. Spiralling back into insomnia, Norton finds his life is changed once again, by a chance encounter with Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt), whose forthright style and no-nonsense way of taking what he wants appeal to our narrator. Tyler and the protagonist find a new way to feel release: they fight. They fight each other, and then as others are attracted to their ways, they fight the men who come to join their newly formed Fight Club. Marla begins a destructive affair with Tyler, and things fly out of control, as Fight Club grows into a nationwide fascist group that escapes the protagonist’s control. Fight Club, directed by David Fincher (Seven), is not for the faint of heart; the violence is no holds barred. But the film is captivating and beautifully shot, with some thought-provoking ideas. Pitt and Norton are an unbeatable duo, and the film has some surprisingly humorous moments. Brand new Global TV link suitable for extended remote control operation of Sky Digi boxes. This is the Sky approved type of magic eye. This item is the retail packed version as supplied by Sky. It comes complete with two coax plugs for use with your own coax cable. The plugs supplied are one female for the RF out 2 connection of your digi box and one male for connection to your TV link RF in socket.

This unit allows the remote control of a Sky Digi Box, Sky Plus Box or Sky HD Box from another room in your home.

This unit works due to the clever TV Link feature fitted to all Sky digi boxes. At the rear of the receiver you will find an RFOUT2 connection. If you connect a long male to female coaxial cable to this connection and feed it to another room then you can you can connect the TV Link unit at the remote end of the cable. The TV Link connects in between the aerial plug on the cable and the aerial socket of your TV. You can then use the Sky remote you already have or an additional handset to change channels and fully operate the Sky box.

Please note the TV Link does not transmit any picture information. It works in conjunction with an existing cable that is connected between your digi box RFOUT2 and your television. It is important that a good quality digital coaxial cable is used. You will find a range of single core digital coax cables in our shop.

Once correctly installed the TV link LED will illuminate indicating the presence of line power. If the LED is not lit then oroceed as follows:

Press the SERVICES button
Select SYSTEM SETUP (option 4)
Press 0 then 1 then SELECT (installer menu now appears)
Select RF OUTLETS (option 4)
Press the down arrow to select RF OUTPUT POWER SUPPLY
Press the right arrow to switch the option on
Press the down arrow to select SAVE NEW SETTINGS
Press select
At this point the line power is enabled on RFOUT2 and the led on the TV Link will be on.
