The feature film The X-Files: I Want to Believe is a satisfying if unspectacular installment in the X-Files series, taking place an unspecified time after the show’s nine-year television run. Former agent Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) is now a doctor, while Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) is being hunted by his former agency and living in seclusion. He and Scully are summoned back by a case involving a missing agent and a former priest (Billy Connolly) who claims to be able to see clues to the agent’s whereabouts psychically, though his initial search turns up only a severed limb.
Don’t expect the usual cast of characters; the FBI has completely turned over (except for the George W. Bush portrait), and the only reason Scully and Mulder are back is because agent Dakota Whitney (Amanda Peet) remembers his success on similar cases involving the inexplicable. Don’t expect the same rogues’ gallery either; unlike the previous X-Files feature film, which was inextricably linked to the series’ convoluted mythology arc (and served as a bridge between the fifth and sixth seasons), I Want to Believe is a stand-alone piece that makes use of the series’ roots in horror/sci-fi and moody Vancouver, B.C., locales. Also unlike the previous film, which was almost self-consciously shot for the big screen, this film is on a smaller scale, like a double-length episode of the series. But it’s still a good reminder of the creepy vibe that hooked fans for years. And the relationship between Mulder and Scully? It seems to have resumed pretty much where it left off, at least when you take into account the long period of separation. But stick around for the end-credit sequence to take in all the possibilities for the future. –David Horiuchi, Amazon.com

The case is exactly as advertised. I am very pleased with it. It fits exactly over the iPad. It is well made and being leather feels good.

This case is both practical and good looking.
I chose the case because I wanted something I could keep the IPAD in, even when using it as many of the cases seem to be more of a pouch style. It does what it says on the tin!
The stand works reasonably well. My only criticism is that perhaps another catch or popper to ensure the IPAD stays in the case while the IPAD is in use would be good. The single popper serves to keep the case closed and the IPAD in the case, so when the IPAD is in use in theory it could fall out of the case if turned the wrong way. I haven’t done it myself yet, but can see how it could happen and the IPAD could then fall while unprotected.
Great to get a screen protector included – but as always these things are difficult to apply well / without leaving bumps & bubbles.

Hmmm, not much to say except the whole thing was cheap and nasty. Yes i realised bright pink isnt the colour for many people. It wasnt that so much as the fact the qulaity was appalling, pink plastic covered cardboard was not what I expected. To be more adult in my review, the cutout where the stand would rest was not even, the black ribbed lining where the stand was to rest was not lined up straight, the stiching was randomly long and short stiches, the “gold” popper was just plain cheap and nasty looking.
Although it was pink, I am a professional in my work and I could never been seen outside my home with this. To be honest I dont think any self respecting 5 year old Barbie fan could have used this with any aplomb.

Machinarium is a puzzle video game developed by Amanita Design. The goal of Machinarium is to solve a series of puzzles and brain teasers. The puzzles are linked together by an overworld consisting of a traditional point and click adventure story.
The overworlds most radical departure is that only objects within the player characters reach can be clicked on. Machinarium is notable in that it contains no dialogue, neither spoken nor written. The game instead uses a system of animated thought bubbles.
