sony walkman – this was delivered very quickly indeed and was found to be very suitable. It was meant for my very non-technical husband and to his relief – and mine- everything worked perfectly.

I wanted something simple and easy to use. This is it! The sound is good, and it is good tempered when I set it down hard. The controls are a piece of cake. When you are 85 you just want a nice easy way to listen to your favourite records. This Sony Walkman is now my very best friend.

AS with most Sony equipment, you get value for money, quality and finish. This player does what it says, is fairly easy to operate and I found the earplugs very useful. But there is a down side. Any one with fingers bigger than a ten year old, will like me have trouble changing the batteries. Tucked towards the back, just to the side of the hinge, is a flap covering two batteries. With my average man size fingers, I have resorted to using a cardboard emeryboard to lever the batteries out. Bad design from Sony really lets this product down.

This product has proved its worth. My husband (who is blind) dropped the walkman on a concrete floor and it still works perfectly. It is very easy to use as well.
