Snugg Leather Case Cover and Flip Stand for the Apple iPad – Black
Took a bit of a gamble on this because it had no reviews when I ordered it but it looked like the best option just based on the photos. What a result!!!!! I’m really impressed. Design wise it seems like a copy of the official apple case which is exactly what I wanted. I was put off the apple case by the negative comments about the material and it apparently being a dust magnet. The apple case also doesn’t have a magnetic or any other type of closing system to keep the lid securely closed. In summary – this is an excellent case that improves on the apple design and is slightly cheaper. Buy it!

Got this because I wanted the functionality of the official apple case without the well publicised downslides of it getting dirty easily, not being very sturdy in landscape mode, uncomfortable/sharp edges etc. This case ticks most of the boxes. It is well made, looks professional and fits the ipad perfectly. The typing and landscape modes work well and the ipad feels sturdy in each position. The compromise is the bulk it adds to the ipad and it hides most of the beauty and design of the device. Also, like others have said the ipad drops downwards a touch in landscape mode as the fold under flap is soft and sags under the weight. I haven’t found this much of an issue though and I’m sure with a bit of simple DIY you can get the flap to hold firmer if it is an issue for you.
There are thinner cases out there that show off the ipad more but if like me you want the case to be an effective stand for typing and viewing video then you wont be disappointed. Until other cases come out that combine better design with functionality then this is the case to get. Good delivery speed from the supplier too.

Having just got my iPad last Sunday, I was keen to get a case to protect it, and also, as it’s a bit slippy, I really didn’t want to drop it accidentally.
I’d seen the Apple case, in the Apple store when I bought the iPad, and really liked the design, especially as you could angle the iPad for typing on, and stand it up to watch TV, and video.
Trouble is the Apple case just doesn’t look very nice, a bit plasticy, so I looked around, and found this one. It just looks and feels expensive, and professional. All buttons and ports are just as accessible, and it’s easy to get in AND out, which is important, because if you charge your iPad in a dock, you’ll need to slip it out of the case first. But that’s ok with me.
As for whether it is actually made of leather, I’m not sure, but as I can’t tell, I don’t care. It looks and feels like leather.
Really pleased with my choice.

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/review/RGTS20A8BL9CX I bought my Snugg Case a while ago and I love it. Recently saw this video on YouTube and figured I would upload it for everyone.

Functionally identical to the Apple one with both shallow and steep stand angles (for typing and video viewing) – the only aftermarket case I could find that has both. Same price as the Apple one but much better looking and easy to wipe clean. Delighted.
