I can’t actually review something I didn’t get. It was taking longer than expected for delivary so I contacted the company to ask for an update – Digizo – and out of the blue I was told I would get a refund.
No explanations, no nothing. Awful customer service. Although I got an email saying it had been dispatched, I doubt it was ever sent in the first place. Never again.

This worked twice and then refused all attempts to get it to read a CD. Unfortunately I had mislaid the box and other bits that came with it so I could not return it. It was total rubbish and not worth 1p. I finally had to buy a well known branded product which works a treat.

Looks like a useful piece of kit – and when you get it – it certainly looks the business.
I have a brand new PC, less than a week old, operating on Windows 7. This external drive simply won’t instal at all. Trying to find software on the web to help is pointless – and the instructions come in a small booklet – about 2.5 inches high and one page long. Half of that is in Chinese….
Very frustrating indeed. Then I find that because I have bought through an Amazon merchant I have to return the product at my own cost – and they will test it ‘to see if it works’ etc..
well it might – but it DOESN’T WORK on my new PC. and that’s the key test.
so – now I have to return a product at my own cost – and then (presumably) have a battle with an Amazon merchant to see whether or not they think something should work on my computer.
I would not buy from an Amazon merchant again. READ THE RETURNS POILCY BEFORE YOU BUY BOYS AND GIRLS.

The item is just okay, It does not slide shut properly – possibly my misfortune. It also took forever getting to me – maybe cos of the bank holiday…In any case, I would have prefered to have added a little extra and bought one from one of the known brands off the shelf.

Slimline-USB External CDRW DVDROM DriveThe external CDRW came with no power lead or USB cables. It was part of a birthday present for my daughter. Two requests over the last month for replacement leads to amazon and the supplier have been ignored completely, so very unhappy.
