I bought this tv as a replacement for my now dead 20″ crt. tv in the bedroom. I was amazed that after only 15 mins from taking it out of the box it was assembled and tuned in ready to watch. The picture quality is very good, but I found I had to play around with it as the “out of the box” set up was way to bright and loud. The sound quality is good but again you need to tweak it a bit to get the best out of it. This TV is perfect for a bedroom, kitchen or conservatory. It even looks good too.

Fabulous design and picture quality.
Sound is awful, but I guessed that was going to be the case having read reviews on the 22″ Samsungs before I bought it. So I fixed it with a pair of computer speakers plugged into the headphone jack. Quick simple solution. Sounds great now.

I ordered this TV and then sent it back. The 22″ TV is basic with none of the interesting features as listed in the Series-6 description such as internet access/widgets, built-in media player, etc. – which is why I selected this TV over other models. Picture not brilliant either (Sony much better) and sound as tinny as I have ever heard on a TV of this size – a real distraction.
I guess the better features listed are only available in larger models, but description is misleading as no distinction.
Informed Amazon via phone about this (whilst organising pickup as DHL returns website was not working and DHL don’t do phone calls with Amazon customers! another story) and also stated issues on return form.
Disappointing to still see the description unchanged.

This is a really good Samsung product, let down by poor sound quality and a mounting bracket that leaves the neck permanently fixed into the underside of the TV, with no flexibility to allow any tilt when on its stand.
