I’m a complete novice when it comes to digital cameras so I’m not sure how much my review will count for, but I find the Samsung easy to use and think that the picture quality is excellent. It’s lightweight and quite stylish looking, although I think it should have come with at least a pouch to keep it in. It’s good not to have to worry about batteries but it does mean that you need to think to charge it ahead of time and take an adaptor with you if you go abroad.

This is a very well-priced camera that is loaded with all the features you could possibly want and then some. Why pay more for features you will probably never use? Only quibble is that, as for so many Japanese products, the manual is not always clear and it must be downloaded if you want a printed version to refer to. Also, be prepared to buy a memory card with an adequate amount of storage since the camera doesn’t come with one installed.

I am returning my camera to Amazon as this camera does not have Smile or Blink detection as clearly stated on the Amazon page. I bought the camera with these features in mind.
The Samsung UK website confirms this camera does not have Smile or Blink detection.
Some reviews on Amazon about this camera also praise how good these missing features are, which makes no sense as the camera doesn’t have them!
Very dissapointed such an error can happen.

Being quiete new to modern camera technology we did’nt know what to expect from a little camera.After using it we found it very easy to use.It is also very neat and compact.Overall we are very pleased with it.very good value for money.
