Got this free with new 40″ Samsung 3D Ready TV as an Amazon offer. Am extremely impressed.
When connected via HDMI 1.4 cable, the 3D menu option on the TV becomes available and the system is ready to render 2D DVDs, Xvids, mkv files etc (the player supports USB media, including USB sticks, Fat32 and NTFS hard drives) into 3D dynamically.
Quality is very good indeed for a low-end device, the menu system is clear and intuitive.
Am using it on a wired network (the optional wireless dongle is an absolutely ridiculous cost – over £40) with no problem at all.
Not sure if the player remote will also control the TV though – if it will, it is not immediately obvious how. Not an issue, bearing in mind the price/
For the money (or lack of it) a clear 5 out of 5.
