Product Description
Cherish those precious things forever. There are moments you hold dear, to keep and relish for life. Everything from family albums covering every growth and accomplishment, to the songs that define your generation.
Samsung are into everything these days. I’ve got the fridge/freezer, air-conditioning unit, mobile phone, microwave and now their 4GB SDHC card. And very nice it is too. Well made, lots of storage capacity and very quick image transfer speed from camera to computer.
I’ve never really been happy with the cheaper cards (Sandisk etc…) and the Sony cards are always too expensive. Samsung is a brand many people know and trust and this 4GB card is great value.
High magnetic protection is a good thing if you walk through airport metal detectors a lot and the card is also water-proof and shock-proof. At about £10 each I’ll get one to boost the storage capacity on my laptop. Happy days.

This card was bought for a Canon Sureshot 1100i & it has performed faultlessly. Very impressed with the write speed, durability and reliability so far – will probably buy another for use in my Lumix G1.
Worth the small price premium over similar cards. Recommended….

For an SDHC card, it does its job. 4GB of space has enabled me to save thousands of photos and with a 10 year warranty it does give more trust in the product lasting at least that length of time preserving the memory of the photos/videos saved on it. It has a handy rubber casing to protect it while not in use and I’ve not had any trouble viewing the photos from a camera or putting into the card reader slot of my laptop. Transfer and reading of the card are fast.
The thing that separates this SDHC card from others is it is shock proof and survives high pressure – even if run over by a vehicle under 1.6 tons, magnet proof resisting 13x the magnetic force of home theatre speakers and waterproof surviving over 24 hours in sea water. Now the likelihood of many of these things happening are small and they are more extreme but it does give peace of mind if accidently standing on it, dropping it in the sink or leaving it next to a magnetic force which are more likely. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a reliable memory card and maybe a little accident prone.

There is not a lot to say about memory cards.
This one is obviously well made and is made to be rugged and resilient.
Being Class 6 speed is good and 4GB big enough for over 1000 photos on my 12.1MP camera.
Word of warning though….as it’s a SDHC card a lot of memory card reader won’t recognise it only the older SD standard.
Overall if the card is staying in the camera there are cheaper alternatives but if you tend to remove your cards alot the extra sturdiness my appeal.

I used this card in my Canon SX1 camera and it did write very quickly, in still and movie mode. I don’t know just how sturdy it is – because I don’t want to put it to the ultimate test myself, just in case! The information seems to indicate that it is waterproof and impact resistant though, so I guess I do feel quite comfortable about dropping it and taking it on a seaside holiday without too much mollycoddling.
I does come in quite a neat little rubber ‘brick’, which should keep it from harm when it’s not in a device.
You will need to check that your device can read this card – it is a high specification card after all and, although my camera had no trouble with it, my new laptop (HP TX2 – bought in December 2009) could not read it, so I had to use a separate card reader to download my pictures.
This is not a fault of the card, just a factor of new technology, so make sure you check before you buy.
