Too good to be true??,
 Â
If something appears too good to be true, experience shows it usually is! However, I decided to give this a try – it cost me £10 to park my car today so spending similar on a monopod seemed a good risk – but, it turned out there was no risk! Very quick (signed for) delivery, well packaged, and including a free carry bag. I had seen a similar bag priced at more than £10 so if the monopod within was ‘no good’ I already had value for money.
I possess two tripods and this is a perfect addition. It looks good, it feels good, and it does the job. If I throw it away after a month it will still have been good value BUT I suspect I will get many months of use out of it. It is so light and easy to carry that it goes everywhere my camera goes. No matter how full my car boot is there is always room for this – and because it cost so little I risk this in places I would not risk my tripods.

‘Professional’ a bit of a reach,
 Â
Decent value monopod for the money, probably ideal to carry on your day bag when walking where weight is an issue. The footrest is a bit of a pain as it flops about when not being used as it can’t be locked in place, will probably remove mine.
I can’t agree with the previous comment about the bag being worth the purchase price, it is very flimsy and of poor quality (on mine one seam had never been sewn in)
This is fine for the price, just don’t get carried away with the ‘professional’ tag

good product,
I can’t say I owned variety of mono/tripods to compare this to but here are the few reasons I’m glad I bought it:
- it is very convinient to set-up and fold too. I was taking pictures of elephant at night and when he run at me (from 50 yards distance) it was very easy for me to lift up the monopod and the camera mounted on it and run (suspect I would have had to sacrifice the camera had it been a tripod)
- its very compact for travel and requires very little space
- footrest certainly helps! if you decide to buy another product don’t buy one wihtout it !
- slick design
