Snappy bit of kit,
 Â
As I only intend to do the occasional bit of portrait photography I was after a backdrop support that was relatively inexpensive, but at the same time reasonably robust. Other systems I’d looked at tended to be a bit pricy so I was pleasantly surprised when unpacking PhotoSEL’s version. Feel I made the right choice and find the support tripods very easy to set up with their quick release levers along with the three cross poles which can be quickly connected for either 2m or 3m wide backgrounds.

A Good Backdrop Stand,
This is a very good backdrop stand and not too expensive. It is very good that the length of the pole is adjustable so that by removing a section it can be changed from 3m to 2m. It’s very portable as it folds down, and there is even a carry bag supplied, although this is vastly oversized as it is size standardised for Photosel to include one with any of their equipment. No Problems, and a very good purchase.

Sturdy, cheap and functional,
 Â
 Â
Reasonably light-weight and collapsing down to a small packed size, this is a handy solution for temporary setups in the home or anywhere else. Not the lightest, and the tripod legs take a bit of getting used to, but it’s quick enough to set up and sturdy once it’s all tightened. A good range of configurations in terms of height and width means it will handle most situations.
The supplied carry bag is MUCH bigger than is needed for the supports on their own, which means that you can fit a ton of other stuff in there (like backdrops etc) as well. All in all a great package at a fine price.
