This gives you the best in LCD TVs’. Easily set up straight from the box. It self tunes all available Freeview and Analogue TV programmes. No need to twiddle with the picture or sound settings as they are pre-set to be perfect.A beautiful sleek black cabinet completes this very nice bit of kit.You can ask no more of any TV. Ten gold star rating would be nearer the mark I believe.

Purchased recently for my parents who are in their eighties.
My Dad described receiving this TV and setting it up as like having a Christmas present. He cannot sing its praises highly enough!
We purchased a Toshiba 32AV713B 32-inch Widescreen HD Ready Digital LCD TV with Freeview first and some of the comments are based on comparisons with this model. We were lucky to pay only £60 more for the Panasonic (both from Amazon) but the average price difference between the two is at least £100 which may explain some of the quality differences.
Overall the quality is well above the Toshiba which itself has numerous excellent comments for the previous comparable model.
The Panasonic quality of manufacture is excellent. Default picture settings are easy on the eye.
The user guide is comprehensive; very well written and easy to follow. It enables connection and setup with complete confidence. Especially recommended for the elderly as it gives clear, concise, well explained instructions with good cross referencing. It explains all the features fully, and gives satisfaction and pleasure of ownership through the understanding and awareness of the features.
My mother is hard of hearing and listens through headphones at high volume whilst my father and anyone else use the normal speakers. No Panasonic TVs cut-off the speaker volume when headphones are inserted (Panasonic Dealer).
The Toshiba AV model TV along with all other makes to my knowledge cuts off the speaker volume when the headphone jack is inserted this clearly did not suit my parent’s needs. Toshiba Support told me that the RV and XV models do allow the speaker volume and headphone output to work at the same time.
The Panasonic TV also allows the headphone volume level to be adjusted independently from the speaker volume through the menus.
The Information banner is very useful and allows you to look at what’s on other channels whilst viewing the current one.
The front facing surround is pleasing to the eye and is not so reflective as to detract from viewing the screen. The Toshiba surround is reflective and can distract the eye.
Connection to the base is very well designed for holding the TV level. (We returned the Toshiba because it was not standing level.)
Overall this is a superb product.

I recently bought this TV for someone who is hard of hearing. Unfortunately, switching on subtitles causes it to go into 16:9 aspect ratio, regardless of the programme. It is not possible to change the aspect ratio manually while subtitles are on. This means that old films, for example, have to be watched with either no subtitles, or with strong image distortion. I have emailed Panasonic customer care – if they have a solution I will update this review.

I’ve had this TV about a month now and I really love it. Its easy to assemble (the instructions suggested it needed at least two people, but I did it on my own) and its auto-tune feature means its really simple to get it up and running. I’m not at all technically minded but it was just a case of plugging it in and following the on-screen prompts. The picture is sharp and clear, and the same can be said about the sound. I thought that, only having a 26″ screen before, the 32″ screen would be a little big for my small living room but I am used to it now and am very pleased I decided on this model. Highly recommended.

Latest technology at a reasonable price.
My previous TV was also Panasonic, and is still producing a good picture after 15 years.
