Panasonic TX-L19X10B 19-inch Widescreen HD Ready LCD TV with Freeview – Black
This is certainly a must purchase if you are looking for a high quality 19″ LCD TV with Freeview.
Finally I went for this one, and I am so glad that I did in the end, as I had returned several TV’S prior to this as they just didn’t have that wow factor that you would normally expect when you make a purchase of this kind.
I didn’t go for this one first of all because it was quite expensive, and I paid alot more than what Amazon is selling it for at the moment.
I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT THIS FIRST OF ALL, AS IT WOULD HAVE SAVED ALOT OF PROBLEMS !
I am quite fussy, but just cannot fault it in anyway, so it must be good for me to say that. The TV is very well made, has a lovely smooth finish, and the picture quality is just superb.
The sharpness is Excellent, and the sound is the best I have heard on a portable LCD TV.The speakers are hidden underneath the TV, which makes the overall size of the set a bit smaller than other makes.
You won’t get a deep bass, but as I have already explained, the sound is certainly the best for this size of TV, with a nice and clear tone to it, and adequate bass.(Compared to other makes this size)
If you use a SD card in your Digital Camera, you can put this into the side of the TV, and view them with superb detail. The remote is nicely laid out, and the numbers on the channel selection are big and clear.
One of the TV’S I had tried before this one, was a Sony 19″, as I always thought that they were the best around, but the Panasonic wins all the way.The Sony picture was no where as sharp and clear even though it was set on the maximum setting. As soon as I turned on the Panasonic you could see the difference.
Amazon are selling this at a great price at the time of writing this, so if you want a very high quality LCD 19″ with freeview, then I wouldn’t look no further.Go for this TV and you will not be disappointed.
Thank you for reading my review, and I hope that I have helped you in making your decision ? .

I recently had to replace my small kitchen television and narrowed my search down to 2 makes, Sony and Panasonic. The ideal size for my kitchen is probably 21″, however, the Sony 21″ widescreen television was a little pricey for me at nearly £400 and unfortunately Panasonic do not sell a television at this size. So, I opted for the Panasonic 19″ and I certainly haven’t been disappointed. The sound is excellent and the picture very clear and perfect for my requirements. I am very satisfied with this television and would thoroughly recommend it.

A great product for a great price.
A neat, stylish small lcd TV for a bedroom or study, easy to get going but maybe a little tedious to set the picture preference. Excellent sound reproduction, easy controls with a quality look and feel. A good all rounder for the price but not big enough as a main TV.

Have always purchased Panasonic equipment and rarely been disappointed. this is no exception.
The TV is good looking and easily set up. Picture and sound quality very good for bedroom use. Probably a little lacking in a large lounge.
Already bought the previous model for kitchen. very nice.

Having only a small recess for a second TV I checked out this model and the Sony equivalent (these being the two makes I have most confidence in historically). This Panasonic is a Which? Best Buy which ultimately swung it for me (although the Sony isn’t actually reviewed). That review points out that although viewing angles aren’t fantastic (the picture fades when you watch it from below or the side) it’s a common problem on TVs this size and this model is better than any of the competion. Sound quality seems to be an issue with most flat panel TVs of all sizes and this 19″ Panasonic isn’t brilliant either but it is adequate. No problem for me however as, for any programme with sound worth listening to, i.e. decent soundtracks, I have the TV permanently hooked into my HI-FI which gives brilliant cinematic results.
The picture is excellent if you get your viewing angles correct using the tilting stand.
The programming Guide (EPG) has irritating adverts apparently although if you don’t enter your postcode when prompted at set-up (for security) no adverts appear. Take your choice.
I also use this TV as an occasional PC monitor and that works well too. Several reviewers of the Sony complained it was useless as a PC monitor but that was possibly attempting to use the HD connection. My laptop has no HD output but using the 15-way D connector cable (same as between a PC and monitor) I am happy with the result.
Delivery was next day (less than 24 hours) which is service you can’t argue with.
