This is a smart digibox that has worked perfectly with no problems for over a year for me. There is certainly no high pitch noise (it actually makes less noise than my sky+ boxes!) Great box for watching sky with.

We had a problem on a previous generation Pace Sky Box that was about 4 or 5 years old. After a couple of tries to get it fixed/replaced by the local Sky dealer, I opted to buy a replacement. This one worked immediately I plugged it in and has better performance than its predecessor. It was also cheaper from Amazon than I could have bought it locally and arrived when they said it would.

The DS440NB delivers the highest quality MPEG-2 standard definition picture, you can see the difference, a quality picture.
Never had a problem with this model, good tuner, good components.
