Opened the box, set it up, turned on the laptop, and BINGO – working first time. Great picture just on the wall and can’t wait to see it on a screen. There was no video lead, but there again it isn’t advertised with one, so why others have moaned about this is beyond me. Only minor criticism is no full manual or disc, so had to download that from Optoma site.

Just bought this and WOW.
for the price I thought it would be abit gash, You will not bellieve how amazing it is in detail. only bad point is that you need an adapter for the plug to work in England.
BUY THIS PROJECTOR IT WILL LITERALY BLOW YOUR MIND. works so well on pc games and movies.

I am very pleased with the projector, it does give excellent pictures. However, as I have never used one before I was disappointed that there wasn’t a proper instruction book. The enclosed leaflet was pretty useless.
It is also pity that the appropriate cables weren’t also provided, especially at the price paid.
With help from my husband it has taken quite a lot of time trying to work out how the projector works. We haven’t yet found out how the integrated speaker works for all we know it may not work. Luckily I have speakers to use until we have found out how it works.

Hi! This projector only came with 2 power cords and 1 remote control! It was missing a VGA cable in the box and I was never in a position to test it …
I will need to buy new cables and I sincerely hope it will be fine …
Anyone from Amazon could tell me if we had to buy the VGA cable seperately for the Optoma DS316L DLP Projector?
