Noir Black Ceramic Cafetiere 8 cup

I have only ever brought “Bodem” cafetieres… but I seemeed to be forever cracking the glass. I decided to buy this ceramic one, thinking it might be stronger, sturdier and less fragile. BUT I am disappointed with it… yes it seems stronger than the Bodem glass cafetiere, but this one drips badly when you pour the coffee into the cups. Hot coffee dribbles down the pot and makes a terrible mess! I wouldn’t buy it again and wish I had stuck to what I knew instead.

I find this little cafetiere excellent. I have had a black one for about a year but decided to buy a white one as well as I find so many guests want decaffinated coffee. Now I can have one pot for ordinary and one for decaff. I have found no problem with them at all and I think they look so much nicer on the table than the glass ones with all the dregs showing. However, like all cafetieres, don’t be fooled into thinking you will get 8 good-sized cups of coffee out of it – you get 8 small cups.

I am delighted with the pura white cerammic cafetiere – all my guests admire it too
