I looked at most of Wii component cables and found a wide variety of prices and instead of going for the highest priced one’s choose these lowest priced set. I found they do the job very well, no bother and saved me nearly £20 as well over the highest priced cables.

Been told a few times the wii is not HD so not convinced into buying expensive conponent cables, £49.99 at one shop! still these at 3quid were worth a shot. WOW really pleased I waited but only for the money I saved, The wii is not HD but the settings allow you to change screen resolutions and with these cables everything is now wonderful. Please buy these they are a bargin and arrived in record time.

These cables are great value, and they’re exactly the same thing that Nintendo would charge you £20 for!
For those of you who have seen an Xbox 360 or PS3 in HD on a HDTV might be disapointed however, since, whilst these cables are not at fault, the Wii itself is.
The Wii will not display at 720p/1080i/1080p (HDTV resolutions) but will in fact only display at 480i/576i (standard definition) or 480p (enhanced definition). Whilst there is a significant difference when compared to the composite cables (red white and yellow) there is not much difference to be made if you are already using an S-Video cable or Scart cable.

Ok, it didn’t arrive in a nice box but rather in a jiffy bag
HOWEVER
The improvement in picture quality in 480p Progressive Scan compared to the normal AV (480i) connections is brilliant. Zelda came alive!
And compared to £18 or so for an official nintendo cable, you really can’t grumble.
A bargain.

as the wii does not support full HD, this lead will give the best pic quality you can get on a TV. foe a few quid its a must.
