For, nicely made/finished, easy to set up and use, fantastic to connect at the same time my own and my firms phones. It’s very loud for such a small unit, also good reports from people I’ve been calling. I’ve put mine high in the right corner of windscreen, next to the visor and it seems very secure and doesn’t obscure view or the visor, and not at all noticeable to theives, I hope! I have a cc and my previous visor mounted one felt insecure at speed with the top down, also because this ones so small I can pop it out of cradle into my pocket if I park with top down. Against, not much except the bluetooth range is such that I have to manually turn it off when parked up at home as my phones are still connected when they are in the back of the house! Not had it long enough to comment on battery life but its the multi connection alone that makes this a bargain.

I’ve always found handsfree Bluetooth gadgets to be more trouble than they are worth and with the iPhone not having rave reviews for it’s Bluetooth feature, most everyone I know with an iPhone continues to use the headphones cable in the car.
I was so underwhelmed when my brother-out-of-law gave the Nexxus to me as a pressie, that it sat in the bag for a week. However having finally taken it out with me, I must admit that it seems to work extremely well.
The solar feature is a particular attraction. I took mine straight out of the box and was using it all day without any juice. I believe the literature states that you get an hour’s talktime for two hours sunlight but I don’t ever recall seeing the sun today and yet I was able to play with it all afternoon.
The text to speech is only as good as the feature on the phone and I found that although it works brilliantly with many names in my address book and as a result I had great fun playing with this particular feature, once I started to go over a certain speed and there was a bit of background noise, it kept offering to call the wrong person.
I found that the suckers on the holder didn’t stick to the windscreen very well, but I believe this was just due to the fact that they’d become a little curled up and when I changed them for the two spares that come with it, this worked a treat, in fact too well, as it was hard to pull off.
But without doubt the best thing about it was that I could hear the person on the other end very clearly and they could hear me, without any echo or interference, which has been the problem which has always put me off these gadgets in the past. Also when I’ve tried to use Bluetooth earpieces previously, I’ve always felt that they defeated the object because I’ve always believed that I was more likely to have an accident while fiddling around, trying to turn it on and connect it. But the features on this are well thought out (eg. when you turn it on, it immediately tries to connect to the last phone it was connected to) and I got to grips with it in seconds, working out the basics and having it paired and working, in the five minute drive along the A40, between Euston and the Westway and it appears a whole lot safer to use than any of the earpieces I’ve tried (and soon given up on!) in the past.
However while it worked perfectly in the car, when I tried to use it in the van, the background noise was too high and the windscreen a little further away and as a result, there wasn’t enough oomph in the volume for it to be worth using while driving the truck, as I ended up having to shout to make myself heard and at full volume, I could hardly hear the person on the other end.
So while I wouldn’t recommend it to van drivers, I’m thoroughly confident about endorsing it as a good choice for car drivers (but then again I got given mine as a pressie and didn’t have to pay for it
