I’ll just lay out the pros and cons: (not many cons)
PROS –
I did not want to pay the ludicris prices on the apple website for a case that really was not up to scratch…but this iPhone case is well priced (in comparison to apple) for what you get.
It IS an iPhone 3G case (some cases cheat and are really for the older model iPhone.
What you see is what you get! The case is nice leather that seems to hold my iPhone 3G securely without restricting its major functions – you can use headphones, charge it, see full screen, use volume controls, etc. It even has the little window for the ‘face sensor’ in the top left which some cases leave out.
I also like how the corners of my iPhone are not too exposed (it’s all very snug) and how it comes with an optional/attachable belt clip. The case does add bulk to the iPhone 3g (at least doubling its ‘depth’) – this is not an issue for me as I can easily take out my sexy iPhone to show my friends then case-it-up for transport.
It’s a flip case! All the apple cases did not have a cover to go over the screen – if you’re like me, and you want to dump your phone in a bag with other items like coins / keys, then having a sturdy cover over the screen is a real PRO.
Dispatch and delivery of item was super fast / next day! (Although, I am on a trial of amazon prime whilst writing this.)
CONS –
The latch / popper for closing the case is magnetic rather than a button. It’s not a very powerful magnet (I hope) so I’m not worried about electronic issues (several layers of leather are between phone and magnet) but I would have prefered a popper. Still, anything is better than velcro, and it holds closed really well with the magnet.
Not too sure how useful ‘credit card holders’ in a phone case are – but they do not detract from the case’s appeal – maybe I can put bits of deathnote in there, or top up cards?
Conclusion –
It’s good! Cannot give it 5 stars simply because it’s not quite my dream iPhone 3g case (but what is?) Avoid the apple site and its multitude of confusing cases and get a proper phone case.
Hmmm…item says ‘out of stock’ at the moment (maybe I got the last one?) but if it comes back in stock – then I’d recommend it! I’ll post again after 1 month to let people know how the case fairs over time.

This case is a very good case. It protects the screen very well, is easy to open, and it looks good too. The credit card slots, meanwhile, I’ve discovered is a great place to put one’s Oyster Card so you can use your iPhone to get on the bus.
There is one major flaw, however – although it is sensible enough to have a slot for the proximity sensors on the front, there is no gap for the camera, so if you want to take a picture you have to slip it out of the case a little. Still, one flaw on what is otherwise a really good case isn’t too bad.
This is one of the few leather iPhone cases around that actually protects the screen, so I give it a strong recommendation.

Good case, protects my phone from the stuff in my briefcase, holds phone well. Protects the screen better than any stick on film. Have not dropped it yet so cannot comment on extreme protection. Easy to dock with a cable still in the case.
Downsides are no hole for camera, have to slip iphone up out of case to take a photo. Also the side of the case makes it tricky for my fingers to touch the most lateral letter keys on the screen

If you’re lucky enough to have an iPhone, then it is essential that you protect it. I dropped my first one getting out of the car and the screen smashed in a similar fashion to a pyrex dish. Bolting the stable door after the horse had fled, I went through a number of case options. Them things you can buy that clip on the back with a screen protector are a complete and total waste of your time and money. The bung it in a leather bag option is also not very practical. If you’ve got your answer phone switched on and your phone’s in your pocket, chances are you wont get to your phone before your answer phone picks up the call.
So, you really only need to consider the Noir Luxe case. It oozes quality. It is without doubt a beautiful thing. It’s priced superbly and when it comes to your door and you open it you feel like you’ve bought something that should have cost maybe 2 or 3 times more than you’ve paid.
It comes in a box lined with tissue paper and you’ll want to keep the box cos that in itself is quite something else. It comes with a belt catch too which is seperate cos they obviously know at Noir Luxe that only a gimboid would attach his or her phone to his or her belt. The phone fits perfectly into the case and when it’s closed and fastened there’s no way the phone can slip out. None of the controls or the dock slot are obstructed by the case. It’s soft leather with some kind of rigid inner bit and has white stitching. This is a quality product at a reasonable price. If you love and want to care for your phone, you MUST buy one of these cases. My brother bought one for his Tocco and tells the same story only not as eloquently.

We love this Iphone case, it keeps the iphone secure and protects the screen very well which is ideal for my hubby having his phone at work where it can easily get scratched. This case is top quality made with soft leather.
Id definately buy another one of these cases if i needed another and id recommend one to anyone who is thinking of buying one….you wont be dissapointed.
