I bought the TrueVue screen protector in October for my new Canon EOS 7D but delayed applying it because it looked like a very complicated procedure. It’s now February and I finally got round to attempting it. That was fifteen minutes ago! It really is so very easy to do and it looks great and feels very robust, well sealed down and very clear.
The product was shipped from the USA but don’t be put off – it was here within the week. It was supplied with very clear instructions and a plastic smoother, two roll-on rubber thimbles and a small piece of lint free material. The kit is specifically made for the 7D screen shape (but look on Amazon to find other supported devices). The kit also includes a cover for the top plate LCD screen which is also an accurate fit.
If you want extra protection for your screen then do look at this kit. I might even consider getting a spare kit but, by the looks of this, I probably won’t need to.

Whilst the product appears more expensive than others that’s because you get more product! The screen protector correctly fits the rear LCD screen on the 7D plus there was the unexpected bonus of a screen protector for the top LCD screen. The pack includes a good quality lens cloth, the same you get with a pair of glasses, two finger gloves to avoid prints on the screen when attaching plus a piece of plastic to help avoid air pockets. Once on there is no distortion or colour change to the LCD output. The product comes from the US and took a week but worth the wait and the overall package is good value.

Having spent a great deal of £ buying expensive SLR kit this is a must! Nobody wants a sratched screen and for just a few £ it gives you peace of mind.
