Kensington Battery Pack And Charger For iPhone And iPod

I’ve got a couple of chargers but this is my preferred one – it’s like you’re carrying your own personal mains supply. It’s light, very small, well made and does exactly what it’s supposed to. Have used it to charge my Ipod, Blackberry and even my kids DS. On a recent 9 hour flight my Ipod’s own battery ran out after 3 hours. The Kensington easily covered the other 6 hours as I watched 9 episodes of ’24’ in a row and left me with a mostly charged Ipod once I got off the plane – as it powers and charges at the same time. It also has a battery indicator so you know when the Kensington needs re-charging. The fact that it has a USB out means it will charge most USB devices.

Allows me to re-charge my i-Pod Touch twice fully and then almost a third time. As I spend a lot of time on planes and buses it has become indispensible.

Recently watched the entire 3rd Series of Primeval (almost 8 hours of video) whilst flying the Atlantic, plus listened to some music! Can’t be bad.

I bought this as i was not impressed with the battery life on my iphone 3G. This battery is ideal for long car journeys (listening via an Groovetrip II FM transmitter).This is also perfect for camping trips and comes with a european plug which is handy if you want to take it abroad. This can charge my 16gb Iphone 3G about 5 times so thats loads more music and video and gaming time it can also be used to charge any other USB device.I have to admit I did noy buy this item from Amazon as it was cheaper elsewhere once you include the expensive postage rate. I highly recommmend purchasing this item if you need more battery life as it’s probably the best on the market from what that I have read.
