Wanted FM transmitter to hold my iPhone firmly without falling out. This product works because the phone sits on the base. Arrived promptly, easy to set up (I find I need to adjust between 107.5-107.7 during long journeys to address static interference), firm but flexible, charges phone, FM sound quality 7/10 not for purists but better than others I’ve used. Works with iPhone TomTom too. Bargain.

Began by saying half way through a song “this item is not compatible with the iphone” and I had to wait for the message to disappear (30 seconds or so) then restart the song. Annoying but not too bad.
Now though, it displays the message from the second that the phone is docked and refuses to play music through the transmitter all together.

I like this new version because it can find a free radio frequencey itself so you get much clearer sound out of you ipod

It does exactly what it says on the site. it charges and plays music through your car radio.
I purchased this product and it worked absoulutely fine for a week or so then all of a sudden it stopped and said it wasnt compatable to work with my I-phone.
I spoke to the company and they sent out a replacement straight away which is working fine and has no problems

this transmitter is for all iPod generations and is supposed to fit into the car cigarette lighter.
We have 3 cars in the family and this iPod transmitter fits only in the cigaretter lighter of our old VW Golf (N reg).
It does not fit into the cigarette lighter of our Mercedes E Class Estate (2008 model) and Ford Focus (2008 model) .
The transmitter fixing is too thick for the standard cigarette lighters of a Mercedes and Ford. For some stupid reason the transmiiter is supplied with an attachment for an even ‘bigger wider ‘ cigarette lighter.
I never had this problem with an other car charger for mobile or Blackberry .
