it’s not an HTC cable,
It’s not an original HTC cable as advertised it’s just a standard USB to micro USB cable but it does it’s job – charges the phone and transfers data so I won’t be returning it but still not cool to say it’s a “HTC Micro USB Data Cable For HTC Handsets”

Not much more to say about this other than the cable is NOT genuine HTC: having a picture of an HTC cable labeled “HTC Micro USB Data Cable” and describing it as “by HTC” seems rather misleading when the product is a cheap unbranded cable.
Misleading description aside, the cable seems to do the job although the build quality is questionable.

|Works fine with HTC Desire HD,
Bought to charge my HTC Desire HD. Works fine transfering data also. Not convinced if it really genuine HTC as it looks different to the cable that came with my phone, but still a good quality product at a good price.
