HP Photosmart C4780 All-in-One Printer

I’ve just received my printer today. This was the second as the first had a smashed scanner glass when it was delivered but as usual Amazon have replaced it very quickly (only my second faulty item in a lot of years).

This scanner is amazingly value at this price. You get a high quality printer, scanner and wireless functionality (make sure your operating system and computer support it if you want to use this element). Installation was easy with the supplied software, I’m using Windows Vista Ultimate.

This is my first ever review on Amazon and I’m simply doing it as I felt (the current) 3 star rating did not do this printer any justice.

Printing is straightforward and perfectly good for prints on to the sample 10cm x 15cm sample paper, so good I’ve just order some more see – HP Premium Plus High-Gloss Photo Paper, Bright White, 100 x 150 mm, 280 g/m2, 100 Sheets

The LCD screen is small but perfectly usable and very clear and a great feature on such a good value printer. The card slots will be useful for my wife as she will be able to print off images without having to touch any PC software

This is a very good printer although the replacement ink cartridges are on the pricey side. We hadn’t thought of that when we placed the order. Would like to say though, we found a slight fault with the printer and I am most impressed with the service we received. We were immediately sent a replacement (and perfect) printer, the other one was picked up free of charge. Job done, no problem. We really are very happy with the printer and the service. Thank you.
