Please note this is a revised review.
I was first not very impressed with the Compaq mini 311c (which is identical to the HP 311, please also note that there are different models of the same type sold, so the number 1020SA IS important).
I initially have had concerns with this computer, despite good reviews elsewhere. Mainly the noise from the fan, which was rather loud and the display, which is not so good (colour saturation).
Apart from this two problems the machine is great. A big plus is the ION chip-set with the graphic engine not build into the processor. So videos are playing a high resolution without problems. The HDMI port is a extra plus.
My 311 came with the bios F.02 version, and after upgrading to the latest version (see HP support page) to F.15 the fan became much quieter and is now responding to the cpu load.
So for me know a 4start, not 5 because of the display quality.
