i ordered one of these and it came and everything but its just stopped working after ive only had it for a couple of weeks and even during that time it kept going loud and quiet and all sorts of annoying problems!

You’d be better off getting one of the official xbox live mics rather than this. It is very fragile – I had only had it for only a week, then the headband snapped when I tried to pick it up off the sofa when the cord was snagged on something. And I also noticed distinct echoes the first time I used it.

I brought this product and within two weeks it was broken. I too VERY good care of it and i knew how delicate these types of products are, however it just gets poorer quality every time you use it.
I STRONGLY advise you not to fall in the same trap i did !

I bought one of these as my xbox never came with a headset for some reason.
The first thing I noticed was that the headset is incredibly tight, now my head isn’t that big but it was painful to wear for long sessions. So I tried stretching it out but this then led to it snapping. Also the cable turned dodgy after a few weeks, people were complaining of fuzzy sounds from my mic.
Poor product overall, the official ones are over priced so my advise would be to invest in a wireless headset or an adapter to connect a pc headset.

I have had to totally re-evaluate my earlier review on these headsets!
I think I was far to quick in posting my review!
I bought 2 sets for my grandsons Christmas.
Both sets have just stopped working after only a couple of weeks usage, with no visible sign of any damage to either set. They have both just suddenly packed in, a couple of days apart!
These are of no use to anyone!
My boys cannot talk to, or hear their friends online, and I’m going to fork out for more.
Buy them at your own risk!
