bought this package to go along side my onkyo tr507 amp, rather pleased with them, be aware tho the sub is big, keep having to tell visitors it isnt a table, so dont put your mug on it.
the sub its self can be very bassy so it good it comes with a volume control, i have’nt been able to set the crossover any lower than 120hz, so its not truely non diectional, still sounds good tho, the satalite speakers are good and feel well made, however getting anything other than bell wire thru the fixing bracket is a pain, as i discovered, overall tho very happy with it

I bought these go go with my Sony STRDH800.CEK Receiver with 1080 HD and 24p True Cinema and I have to say they sound fantastic, (bear in mind I’m no audio expert so your opinion may differ), the centre speaker comes with a nice wall bracket and I’ve brought the wires through the wall, the plastic wall mounts that came with the speakers seemed ok, but I didn’t use them, I bought the metal stands instead so I can’t really comment on them.
The speaker wire that comes included in the package is actually quite a good quality and well matched, the ends seem to be coated in nickel I think, which is a nice touch, my only niggle was that the included subwoofer cable was, I felt, a bit below the quality of the rest of the package, it just seemed a bit cheap, no worries though, I’ve replaced that with a much beefier cable.
Onto the sound, I seem to have had no problem reproducing tracks from blu ray, the bass is fantastic (beware the subwoofer is actually huge), and I have no problems with the treble either fizzes and pops all coming through fine, music sounds fantastic too, however I’ve only played a few tracks from my iPod on them, nothing truly lossless as yet.
All in all, I think a fantastic package for the money, a few niggles, but I’m not expecting to have a professional subwoofer cable, or fantastic wall mounts (might just be me but I prefer the stands, I like the option to move things about)
At the end of the day If you’re looking for a cinema set of speakers for around £250, these are a great choice.
