Flash Memory 8GB USB DRIVE

8Gb of removable ram in effect, most computers have either a USB port spare to plug one of these into or the capability to have one added.

Create a desktop short cut and you have a handy place to drag all those pictures music etc that other wise clutter.

In action it is not quick but that is expected. Plugged nto a spare USB port and you have a piece of (so far) reliable storage that can go with you when you walk away

The downsides. 8Gb is not correct. WIth these you get a usable 7.45Gb free, par for the course for these devices.

The metal shield (see photo). may physicaly protect the connector, however iwhen folded it does make the whole thing something scarily easy to lose when say stuffed into a pocket.

It needs removable top, pen stle cover with pocket clip or any way to add a cord to wear it around the neck. any or all of those would be useful. I xuppose you could loop a cord through the cover but then you effectively lose the cover.

If, like me, you leave it in the machine nearly full time, these quibbles are not really an issue.

so summarising too small when folded, reliable, 7,45Gb max usable capacity, really needs a clip or loop. pity they forgot to think about what happens when its not plugged in! It does what I need it to do so four out of five.

Ordered on a Wednesday, the product arrived on Saturday. Plugged it in and the computer recognised it straight away. Transfer speed seemed slow at first, but I then hit on the idea of reformatting it from FAT32 to NTFS, which took just a few minutes. After that, the transfer rate was much quicker – dragging and dropping many files which took seconds to transfer. Delighted with it so far and find it the best way to transfer files quickly from the main computer to the laptop. Only one slight criticism, its capacity is actually 7.47Gb but it’s still the simplest way to transfer large files. For anyone considering buying it, you’ll definitely get value for money but be sure to format it first (to NTFS) and you won’t be disappointed!

I’ve had absolutely no problems with this flashpen whatsoever, it’s been a great buy. Really good quality, and so cheap! If you need a big memory USB for a small price, this is definitely the one to go for.

Who would have thought that I would be using these.

This is far better than the one I bought at my supermarket. Its small, compact and very easy to use. It fits in my purse. It arrived after just 2 days.
