At the time of writing there is only one 1-star review, which is silly, so I thought I’d balance it out.

This is a DVD for Lynch diehards, yes, but they will love it.

It’s fascinating to see what a no-budget Lynch is like: surreal animations and DV experimental shorts. ‘Boat’, starring Lynch, is the highlight.

I am a great fan of David Lynch but this DVD is a complete waste of money. Most, if not all, of the short films are tedious, over long, trivial and uninteresting. ‘The Bug Crawls’ animation is the best of the bunch with dark, surreal action that maintains some interest, whereas ‘Lamp’ plumbs the depths of tedium consisting almost entirely of Lynch mixing up coloured plaster for about 15 minutes. The members’ question and answer session adds little value to the production.

It’s very poor indeed.
