Well I am a big Death Note fan to say the least! Its my all time best manga for me. I enjoyed all of the high level mind games and overall plot. I also enjoyed the films, the anime and also the spin off novel as well.
Now this is the new movie a spin off for L from Death Note. I found this movie a little flawed at points. Plus the story since it is not based of the main plotlines isnt quite up to the normal level.
However.
I give this movie 5 stars not because of a budget or amazing plot. It is just a very good watch with lots of fun. It makes a great add on for Death Note fans who want more.
Beware if you did not like L from Death Note you might not enjoy this film. Neverless good film.

L change the world is about the last 23 days of L’s life.It is a humourous film and the acting is good.Kenichi Matsuyama as L is a very colourful character. The subtitles did not detract from the film. The only sad reality is that there will be no more follow ups with L.I’d recommend this film.

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/review/R4HR669ZR0A8H This is a Spinoff from the last two film saga films Death Note 1 & 2. If your a fan of L, I suggest you watch this cause it’s pretty good. At parts it does drag but essentially overall, it’s a pretty decent. Watch it!
4/5
Enjoy!

This film is ok. Not bad but not great either. The story is fairly daft and the acting, with the exception of L himself, is mediocre.
Kenichi Matsuyama’s portrayal of L is fantastic, as it was in the first 2 films. But I suppose being head over heels in love with L Lawliet makes me biased ;D
Though normally I am unforgiving of ‘poetic liscence’ I continue to forgive these movies for their inaccuracies as the films are just so enjoyable to watch. But here I had to just try and forget about the books altogether, as this movie is clearly a spin of aimed at us fan girls, and has no bearing on the origional stories.
Watching L change throughout the film is at times funny and sometimes a little sad as he is far more humanised than in the books/anime/1st 2 films. And I think I may of at one point glimpsed socks on his feet! A crime against the name of L.
As with the other 2 disc editions this one comes in a Death Note style case, this time a white one. Though, again, the slip case allows the dust to get at the discs via the open top. However, my main issue with this film is that from scene 19 to the end the picture is headache-inducingly jittery, despite obtaining 3 different copies this was a fault I couldn’t escape.

I bought this for myself after getting Death Note 1 & 2 as a present. It’s good, not brilliant, but very watchable.
Unfortunately from Scene 19 it becomes shuddery/jittery, and judging from the number of comments about this, it does seem a problem with the DVD mastering. I don’t think the problems seriously detracts from the enjoyment though.
So, if you’re a huge manga fan, or simply curious, then I’d recommend getting it.
