This headset is pretty bulky-looking when you are wearing it, but it makes up for this by being really light and very comfortable. With some headsets excessive use can leave your ears quite sore in places, however I have yet encounter any such problems in this case (and i have used them for quite a few extended gaming sessions so far).
The sound quality is excellent, the difference I noticed going from my previous pair (which admittedly were bought on a much smaller budget), was so great it spurred me to open up amazon and give this a good review!
Of this headset’s audio am most impressed by the bass; it really adds alot more depth to those explosions
The detachable microphone is a good idea; i haven’t had any problems with it, however I usually leave it connected so i don’t lose it! The sound quality you get from it is pretty good too.
The size of the headset (the band which goes over your head) can be adjusted, as with most headsets. I needed to make the band as short as possible to get the perfect fit, and my head isn’t particularly small, so if you have a smallish head it may not fit too well.
Overall i’d say its well worth your money even if you aren’t much of gamer; it works very well for music and Skype too.

I recently bought these headphones and now I wish I hadn’t
It’s my own fault because I read the top reviews that talked about the sound quality and ignored those that point out the poor physical design of these headphones.
I like creative as a brand but in this case they have not got it right
The headphones are extremely tight on the head to the point of being really uncomfortable to wear. And although I’ve only had them a couple of days I can see the point that others are making about the rather flimsy design.
I would expect better at this price.

the item comes well packaged and looks nice and shiny in its box, as it should.
I dont think it is a great looker to be honest, there are tons of better looking headsets out there.
The sound is great and the bass has a good kick to it. The mic is great quality too. I sometimes just use the mic when on xfire or ts and the people I am talking to cant hear my music or speakers ect unless I turn them up loud.
despite the great sound quality I find these to be very uncomfortable. I wish I had purchased some different ones to be honest. After about twenty mins they begin to hurt.
just for reference for you and to help you decide i have mesured my head. (around the ears where the headphones sit.)
57cm or about 22 and a half inches. If your head is anywhere near the same size as mine then I do not recommend these. They realy are uncomfortable.

Got it and loved them for five days. Then as i unplugged them from my pc the headphone jack wire simply fell apart at the place where it splits. Two days later the microphone jack did the same leaving me with a useless piece of junk. Great Quality otherwise but the incredibly thin wire really lets the whole product down.

I’d always read positive reviews about this headset and never understood why a simple item could apparently sound so good. When my cheap Creative headset broke, I decided to splash out on the Creative Fatal1ty version. WOW! I am so glad that I did. The sound is so detailed, the frequency range is much greater than on all my previous headsets, it’s like having high quality stereo speakers attached to your ears. The in-line volume control and microphone mute switch are exceedingly handy feature.
The only gripe for me with this headset is the removable microphone. The socket in which to attach the microphone is rather stiff, so you’re better off keeping the microphone plugged in at all times and just bend it upwards when not in use.
Not quite perfection, but this headset from Creative comes very close.
