I bought this to use my iphone 3GS to play music in my Landrover Discovery which has an aux socket. Works perfectly. I also bought a Belkin Micro USB CLA adapter so I also use it to charge my iphone through the 12v socket in the front of the car. The cable seems really well made and it does everything I hoped it would.

This is a great product and works great with my iPhone 3GS. As with previous reviewer I have paired this with a Belkin Micro USB car charger for a very slick and good value car installation.
Worth noting that the split is towards the iPhone end of the cable, so the USB and 3.5 jack have longer separate wires.

I have the iPhone 4 and a 57 plate Golf GTi, in case that helps. Item was delivered promptly and does the job really well. Also has a neat little lock on the charger, in that it locks into the phone until you gently squeeze the 2 little buttons to release, unlike much more expensive Apple products.

Quite simply the best product of it’s type.
I have an iPhone 3G and trying to find accessories that work with it is a nightmare.
This lead works as it should and importantly does not make the phone display the annoying ‘not made for iPhone, turn on plane mode’ function.
Incase you were wondering, it charges from the USB plug and plays via the jack and both functions can work independently of each other.
Also the vendor is incredibly helpful and delivery was swift.
Will require a USB socket or similar solution for you car’s cigarette lighter if it does not have one.
Sound quality is superb. I will be buying another for my other car!

Bought one of these to use with my new iphone4 and works brilliantly, great feature is that it charges at the same time which means I can listen to my music on long journeys and that battery isn’t flat on the phone.
