Excellent product, fast shipping. A must to protect your lens from dirt and small knocks.

I purchased this filter for my Canon EF 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 IS USM Lens and the filter fits the lens but the lens cap for the lens doesn’t fit on the filter so it’s useless.

I had a problem with this filter. It arrived on time, but when I tried to attach it to my lens (I have 2 58mm in my collection) it didn’t fit properly, so I had to buy another filter for the other lens to avoid the hustle of changing it every time. of course the new filter was a different make (Hoya) which strangely proved to be better than this one which is designed by the camera’s manufacturer!

The usual Canon build quality. It does what it says on the box. For those that prefer the “Canon” brand – you will not be dissapointed.

I am not sure about its capacity to improve any shooting quality because I have always used an UV filter in my photos. But it definetely protects the front of lens from any intruders like dust etc. To cut it short it makes me feel safer and thus it is worth buying it. Using Canon brand is probably no more than obsession but it is good to know it is of superior quality. But I have shifted to hoya pro-1 series in my later purchases due to more positive feedback about them…
