The cover is well-made and well-stitched and provides an excellent level of protection for your Desire from scuffs, scratches, and low-level drops. The pull-up cord is very handy, although it very occasionally gets tangled or caught depending on how you slip the phone inside – but you soon get used to that. A quick look inside the cover before slipping the phone inside does the trick.
The only issue I have with this cover is that the pull-out strap and “hook” inside the case are made of nylon. It’s a soft non-abrasive nylon BUT if you have the back of the phone facing this it will leave a definite mark over time. The combination of the rubberised material on the back of the phone and the nylon strap ends up leaving scuff marks and indentations pretty quickly, especially if you have the phone and case in your pocket. To avoid this simply ensure that the pull-out strap faces the screen as it will absolutely leave no marks of any kind on that side.
