Great for Playing Music, Poor for Handsfree,
I found this very easy to use.
Insert into lighter socket. Press the scan button. Change radio station to the channel. Instant clear crisp sound.
I have a good sound system in my car and this Gadget makes full use of it. Clear crisp sound with no radio distortion at all! Its very practical and the ability to turn the screen is very useful.
Hands free is not so good. It works, however I find it very hard to hear what people are saying on the other end of the phone. It seems the microphone picks up my voice clearly as people can hear me well enough. I’m hoping fiddling with some settings will rectify this, (but I wont get my hopes up).
I bought this to charge my iPhone and play music with it. This it does down to a tee.
I would recommend this to anyone not too bothered about hands free.

Crashing Disappointment,
Note: This review also appears on a similar titled product as I cannot tell if there is a difference in these models:
My first review due to this being my first truly awful product purchased from Amazon. I have used Belkin FM transmitters before with good results and was swayed by this despite the numerous poor reviews for this product. However, take it from me this is awful. I have been happily using an earlier Belkin Tunebase with my IPOD Classic for some time. Reception has always been strong but the purchase of an IPhone meant that something a little more integrated was required to avoid cables everywhere. This seemed to fit all requirements. It falls down as follows (1) Reception is awful – you can hear nothing even pushing the boost button (PRO) to it’s maximum. (2) It uses the earphone socket rather than the connector – all other Belkins get sound from the connector so not sure if this is tied to the hands free but it can’t improve quality (3) It just keeps on stopping working, recycling or just jumping. On the positive side the mechanism for holding the phone is very neat and avoids the multiple holders that previous adaptors have used. Maybe I got a faulty one…either way it’s on it’s way back – major disappointment and search continues

Belkin Tune bas FM,
fits well in my car, charges iphone no problems, but that is as far as it goes.
signal on FM very distorted,
audio quality is “OK” provided there is no interference from other stations, which is impossible. literally you have to be on a desert island to get a clear reception
NOT A GOOD BUY AT ALL!!
VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH BELKIN
