Works well. Does exactly what is says and the ability to search for the strongest signal is very useful.
My gripe is the gooseneck is not quite stiff enough and i find it bending with vigorous driving. Phone call quality is excellent.
Would recommend to anyone with iphone (NB – make sure you have enough space between the cig lighter and the gearbox to house it)

I bought this unit today and found that the hands-free sound doesn’t work – it is a known fault with this unit and they should simply not be on sale. If you buy it, you will just have to wrap it up and send it back for a refund. Also, the multi-function switch doesn’t work. Also, the hands-free microphone doesn’t work. Buy a Griffin instead.

I bought this in late September and was happily using, when I got a Product Recall notice from Amazon for it, because a rubber ring around the car socket was at risk of catching fire.
I carried on using it for a few weeks (mainly because the recall was via UPS and my nearest shipping agent was on an industrial estate 40+ miles away) until it just stopped working for no reason. The power still charged, but the display went blank and the FM tuner packed up.
So I sent it back and got another back quite quickly in the New Year. I had used that for exactly 22 hours (11 days to & from work) when exactly the same thing happened: no display, no FM tuner, no hands-free call function. So no use.
Sadly, Belkin support is about as efficient as its R&D and Quality Control departments. After waiting ages to gett hrough on the phone, I was eventually told “We’re really busy in December”. Could that be because everyone’s Christmas purchase are going wrong already?
So I tried their live chat facility instead. The drone in the States at the other end eventually advised me to ‘hold down + and – for 15 seconds with the iPhone plugged in, unplug it and plug it back in again’. Of course, this hasn’t worked. (You might want to write this down and give it a try though, for when yours inevitably goes wrong).
So I now face sending it back again and being sent another future dud, or going through the hassle of obtaining a refund.
As someone else has said, great looking product in theory with loads of features, but sadly isn’t fit for sale.

I have had 4 of these so far they last between 12 hrs to 10 days, work great for 12hrs to 10 days. its a great concept but concepts should be tested before put into the market.

It almost does what it says on the box but the quality is poor, the build quality leaves a lot to desire and don’t expect it to work very well if you have a dashboard mounted cigarette lighter as it will flop all over the place. Gave up using it and gave it away after a couple of weeks trial. I gave it away as I didn’t think anyone should pay any money for this piece of rubbish.
