Superb. The back pack has plenty of additional pockets, as well as ample room for a 17” laptop. The product is very well designed, resembling a sought-after fashion accessory as much as a practical item.

As most other reviews have said, this easily accommodates a hefty 17″. However, I’ve just had to purchase this after owning a Targus TEB01 … and the Belkin bag is not in the same league. There a couple of things I really miss:
- No mobile phone pocket on the shoulder strap
- No elasticated, restraining fastener on the main compartment … a big oversight. The laptop just slides around in there. In fact very few of the internal compartments fasten closed so things good quite easily start sliding around.
- No CD holder compartments.
- No easy-access, elasticated side compartments for quickly slipping things into
- No waistband strap for extra security
- It looks more conspicuously like a laptop bag!
The Belkin bag is almost half the price though! And it is definitely spacious, provides good protection and lots of individual storage compartments. Had I not owned the Targus previously I’d probably rated it with 5*

After shopping around for a laptop bag for my new 17″ laptop, I chose this bag, and am most glad I did!
The laptop fits in well, and comes equipped with plenty pockets for everything else, as well as a nice pouch for the power cable.
The bag is extremely well designed, doesn’t scream laptop all over it and is comfortable to wear.

I searched far and wide for a laptop bag to fit my 15.4″ Toshiba Satellite Pro from high end retailers to the cheap and cheerful and I can honestly say that this backpack was a great find. For its price I believe it is one of the best back packs on the market. It is sleek, stylish, durable and compact with an array of useful pockets including the neat cable pouch. The material seems to be waterproof as I have been caught in a few light showers without my umbrella and the interior was left intact. It is very strong – after 8 months of carrying my heavy laptop plus books, it shows little signs of wear and tear.
On the downside, getting the back pack on and off can take some getting used to as the material is quite stiff and when the main pocket is full, closing the zip can be a bit tricky due to the design. One of my zips broke after four months but that was due to overloading, althoughg it comes with two zips, try not to overload. All in all this bag is a great buy for the price.

This is a well made, good quality product, with lots of compartments for different things.
But it was too bulky & big for me (as it is for 17″ laptops). I am avergae-petite for a woman & thought this was too big for me.
Amazon, as always, were very helpful & refunded me fully.
