I ordered this at my partner’s request. Unfortunately, he had not done his homework and we found there are 3 types of USB connection rather than 2. Therefore we don’t have a use for this and can’t review how it actually works – but I can advise that if you are considering buying one of these, do your research better than we did!

Great build quality and reliable 1.8m USB cable. I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and don’t notice it’s there which is probably a good thing. The shiny gold plated connectors are strong and fit securely. Frustration free packaging means it arrives in a huge reinforced rectangular cardboard box you could reuse to send something as delicate as china through the post. The unusual, high quality packaging means this cable should arrive in protected, tip top condition.

It’s from the AmazonBasics range, what can I say, it’s such a useful item as you always need this type of cable at home. great product, good quality, nothing to complain about. I also love the long 1.8 metre lenght.

Not much to say about this item, except that it is an A/B USB cable with a 1.8M length. The price is very good for a cable with gold-plated connectors: you’d expent to pay several times as much for a brand-name cable with the same spec. Packaging is certainly easy to open, although the box seemed a little large for the purpose. Not a criticism, though. This is an excellent product. Highly recommended.

This is a standard USB printer cable that connects a PC to a printer. It is the cable that most USB printers use. It arrived quickly and at 1.8 metres it is fine for printers that you want to have a little way from the desktop. It was plugged in and the printer was picked up quickly and with no problems. The packaging (frustration free) was a box and was recycled by using it to post something else in. Overall if you are looking for a standard printer cable I would recommend this product.
