This camera case is an excellent carry case for digital cameras, especially cameras which come without a case included. The case is well padded inside, giving your camera good protection against knocks whilst wearing it. It has a handy pocket at the front to keep batteries, camera remote control and memory cards. The adjustable belt loop is also a very useful feature, allowing you to use it with varying widths of belts. For a more detailed review, see Sam Woodwards review on this product.
If you haven’t a case for your digital camera, buy this one.

The dimensions given in the description (3.15×1.57×4.73 inches (LxWxH)) are the *internal* measurements.
The external seams & heavy padding give the case some rather large *external* dimensions – it’s unlikely to fit in most pockets.
The camera case is big for most new compact point and shoot cameras, and has lot of room to spare for other accessories like AA batteries, extra memory cards. The case is so large that I am also able to also fit my keys, wallet & candy-bar phone inside.
The top flap and the belt loop are secured by pieces of velcro. They seem adequately secure. The quality of materials used to make this bag is good
The camera case is branded ‘Amazon Basics’ – as you can probably see if you click on the thumbnail photo. I suppose it’s just a tab that can be cut off, but it kind of screams ‘I’m cheap’. (This could be an advantage – you don’t want it to be attractive to thieves
It’s excellent value for money.

I ordered the case and it arrvied 2 days later very promptly. As usual it was packed in Amazon’s so called environmental packaging which contained 1 plastic back, 1 small carcboard box and one much larger cardboard box which was 3 x the size of the product.
Packaging aside the product has a soft padded interior with a velcro lid which kind of squashes around the camera and one zipped front pocket for memory sticks / spare battery. The back has a belt loop which can be removed with velcro on one side. The velcro lid has a front leather part to add to the design.
The interior is foam padding with a cotton layer over the top and the exterior is tought nylon.
I’d say that the case is protective and durable but doesn’t feel as nice as some of the more expensive cases. Overall, it will do the job and will hold your camera in nicely.

I bought this for my daughters slimline camera, it is very well padded and will protect her camera well. Bigger than I expected but very well pleased with the quality. Even though it looks bigger on the outside than the inside because of the padding, I still feel I got the right size for the camera.
It has a front pocket to store extra cards and batteries I got 4 batteries in there and 2 extra SD cards, with room for more. This is under the flap and has a zip to it, and it also stretches out a little ways to allow for the batteries etc…
The velcro fastening is very strong and secure
The Belt loop fastening is also very strong velcro and felt comfortable on the belt with the camera & accessories nice & secure.
Well worth the money and good quality as well.

I ordered this case for my wife’s compact camera after a previous one I ordered turned out to be too small. This case fits the camera (a Panasonic Lumix TZ8) nicely, the length and depth of the camera slot in nicely. There is spare space inside for a wider camera but not much.
The case is made from a soft canvas which protects the camera from scratches and bumps. It would probably survive quite a high fall, too (although ovbiously I’m not going to try this out for the sake of a review) but I don’t think I’d trust the camera to be 100% safe against anything in it.
The only real problem with the case is that it’s actually quite big on the outside. I got it with the hopes that my wife would be able to keep in in her handbag (which is like a TARDIS itself!) but it’s just a bit to big to live in there permenantly. It stops her getting to the nine-hundred other things she keeps in there at all times!
All in all a pretty good case but I imagine there are smaller cases out there that would fit a compact camera just as well. Check the size of your camera against the internal dimensions before you buy anything.
