The newer generation iPods need a special cable to connect to the AV connectors on your TV. The old trick of using a video camera cable with the coloured plugs switched round doesn’t work with my 6th gen iPod. But this cable is straight from the box plug and play. Attached to the iPod port, pluged into the back of my flat-screen TV and I was watching iTunes videos within minutes. Also has a usb plug so could be used a back-up connection to your computer. All good.

Great value for money. Alot cheaper than meny others. conect my ipod clasic and I was watching my photos on the TV. You just need to find out wich av conection you are on.

If you have an i phone or i touch you will already know how many more pounds you have to constantly spend to get it to do stuff that other products just do.
Product is 5 stars but Apple’s constant unique design compatibility for accessories deserves no stars.

There are many alternatives on the market but I chose this one because it explained in detail the compatability and limitations – it made it quick to assess with no fear of a wrong order – plus it was good value for money. Beware cheaper leads that look he same but lack the feature for iphone.

Not the finest quality cable by a long shot – but it works. If you are going to be plugging/unplugging the cable continually – perhaps you should go for an original – but if like me you are going to plug it into your tv an leave it plugged in – then it should be fine.
